Jennifer Smith

Jennifer Smith has a diverse work experience, primarily with the City of Minneapolis. Jennifer started their career in 2004 as a Medical Processes Coordinator, where they managed department processes and maintained employees' private information. In 2006, they became the Health and Wellness Program Coordinator for the Minneapolis Police Department, overseeing the internal wellness program for over 1,000 employees. Jennifer later transitioned to the role of Human Resources Consultant in 2017 and then to a Management Analyst position in 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Interagency Coordinator for the Community Planning and Economic Development Department.

Jennifer Smith obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication, General from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Jennifer attended the university from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, they hold a certification in Health Promotions from The Cooper Institute, which they obtained in September 2012.
