Ryan Sudbury is an experienced attorney currently serving as City Attorney - Civil and Deputy City Attorney for the City of Missoula since May 2016. Prior to this role, Ryan worked as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Salem, where responsibilities included representing the Public Works Department and providing legal counsel on various issues. Earlier experience includes serving as Staff Attorney for The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and the Nez Perce Tribe, providing legal advice to tribal governments. Ryan also operated a solo private practice addressing legal matters for tribal governments and non-profits in the Pacific Northwest. Education includes a JD, Cum Laude, from Lewis & Clark Law School and a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Florida.
