Darren Gault (MOL, CPC, CSSP) currently serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Moline since July 2019. Previously, Darren held multiple positions within the East Moline Police Department, including Captain, where responsibilities included overseeing day-to-day operations across various divisions, and Lieutenant - Detective Commander, supervising the Criminal Investigation Division. An experienced soccer coach, Darren has led teams with Quad Cities Rush from March 2018 to March 2024, as well as Moline United from August 2011 to July 2018. Additionally, Darren has contributed to broader community education as an adjunct faculty member at Black Hawk College. Academic credentials include a B.A. in Business Administration from Coe College, a Masters in Organizational Leadership from St. Ambrose University, and certifications from the United States Soccer Federation. Further professional development includes completion of the FBI National Academy in 2017.
