Momen Mokhtar

Momen Mokhtar is a civil engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Iowa - College of Engineering, completed in May 2023. Currently serving as a Design Engineer for the City of Moline since June 2023, Momen previously gained experience as a Transportation Intern at HR Green, Inc. from September 2021 to December 2022 and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Iowa, where research focused on High Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP). Additional experience includes a Transportation Engineer Internship at Wight & Company in summer 2021 and serving as a Direct Support Professional at Reach For Your Potential, Inc., helping individuals with developmental disabilities achieve personal goals. Education prior to The University of Iowa was completed at Kirkwood Community College between 2018 and 2020.
