Peter Hovanec

Peter Hovanec has extensive experience in communications and journalism, currently serving as the Communications and Tourism Officer for the City of Monroe, NC since June 2008, where responsibilities include managing public information and directing tourism efforts. Prior to this role, Peter worked as an Editor and Writer at The Enquirer Journal from March 1998 to January 2008, holding positions as a staff writer and news editor. Additionally, Peter served as Communications Coordinator at SPCC between 2007 and 2008. Peter Hovanec holds a degree from Queens University of Charlotte, earned between 1992 and 1995.
