Alyssa Colunga Drph

Alyssa Colunga, DrPH has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Alyssa began their career as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Pharmacy in 2005, where they worked until 2011. In 2011, they joined the YWCA San Gabriel Valley & Inland Communities as the Senior Manager of Development & Community Care, a role they held until 2018. During this time, they also served as a Program Coordinator at the City of Montclair from 2012 to 2013. In 2012, they participated in the Randall Lewis Health Policy Fellowship as a Fellow. Since 2018, Alyssa has been working at the City of Montclair, starting as an Administrative Analyst and later becoming a Senior Management Analyst. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Director of Human Services & Grants Manager at the City of Montclair.

Alyssa Colunga, DrPH, holds a Doctorate in Public Health with a concentration in Leadership & Policy. Alyssa earned this degree from Claremont Graduate University between 2017 and 2021. Prior to their doctoral studies, they pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Promotion, Education, and Evaluation from the same institution.
