Christy Sabdo

Christy Sabdo, AICP, currently serves as an Associate Planner for the City of Monterey since September 2019. Previously, Christy held the role of Senior Environmental Project Manager at Rincon Consultants, Inc. from February 2014 to September 2019, and served in various capacities at the Kane County Development and Resource Management Department from April 2001 to February 2013, including Senior Planner and Director of Subdivisions and Zoning. In these roles, Christy managed the Kane County 2040 Plan and oversaw subdivision proposals and zoning petitions. Additionally, Christy worked as an Environmental Management Specialist with the County of San Diego from November 1998 to March 2001, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and conducting field investigations. Christy holds a Master of Science in Geography from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with an emphasis on Natural Resources and Environmental Analysis from San Diego State University.
