Fernanda Roveri

Principal Planner at City of Monterey

Fernanda Roveri, AICP, has extensive work experience in urban planning and transportation. Fernanda has worked at the City of Monterey since 2015, starting as an Associate Planner and later being promoted to Senior Associate Planner and currently serving as the Principal Planner. Prior to that, they worked briefly as a Transportation Planning Technician at the Council of San Benito County Governments and as a Transportation Planner at Ryan Snyder Associates. Fernanda also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. In 2013, they worked as a Student Design Trainee II at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, and prior to that, they were a Student Design Trainee I at the same agency. Fernanda began their career as a Resident Assistant at UC Berkeley Office of Student Development and as a Downtown Area Plan Intern at the City of Berkeley Planning & Development Department.

Fernanda Roveri, AICP has a Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree from UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and the University of California, Los Angeles, obtained from 2012 to 2014. Fernanda also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in City/Urban, Community, and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, earned between 2007 and 2011. In addition, they have obtained the certification of Certified Planner (AICP) from the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) in December 2017.
