Alex Poulin

Alex Poulin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, they are working at Ville de Montréal as the Director of IT Architecture (CTO) since February 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Division Chief of Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Operations from May 2021 to February 2022. Alex also has extensive experience in working with large enterprises from June 2014 to May 2021. In addition, they worked as a Director of Consulting at CGI from 2009 to 2014. Before joining CGI, Alex was an Associate, Administrator, and Consultant at VM6 Software, Inc. until 2009 when the company was sold. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior IT Administrator at Ultramar from 2000 to 2006 and as the IT Director at ADS Inc. from 1995 to 1999.

Alex Poulin obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering from Université Laval from 1993 to 1996. Additionally, Alex has a certification in Togaf9 from Opengroup.
