Matt Goetsch

Matt Goetsch has extensive experience in emergency management and GIS systems. As the 9-1-1 Systems Director for the City of Montrose/METSA since December 2004, Matt oversees the finances and operations of the Montrose Emergency Telephone Service Authority, handling budget management, regulatory matters, and technical advisement. Previous roles include E-911 System Administrator, where responsibilities encompassed managing 911 databases and addressing GIS data issues across jurisdictions. Prior to that, Matt held positions such as Automated Drafting Technician I in Santa Fe County, NM, and Gondola Maintenance Supervisor at Mountain Village Metro District. Matt earned a B.S. in Geography from UW-Whitewater from 1991 to 1996.
