Sean K.

Sean K. has a diverse work experience in the public sector, primarily focusing on urban planning and community development. Sean started their career as a Planning Intern in the City of Highland in November 2003 and later became an Assistant Planner from June 2005 to April 2013. Sean then worked as an Associate Planner in the City of Redlands from April 2013 to December 2015, and in the City of Riverside from December 2015 to March 2019. Sean'srole titles varied in different companies, but their responsibilities remained within planning and development. Sean is currently working in the City of Moreno Valley, where they started as a Senior Planner from March 2019 to October 2021. Sean then served as the Planning Division Manager/Planning Official from October 2021 to June 2023 and is currently working as the Community Development Director, starting in June 2023.

Sean K. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Sean attended the university from 2001 to 2005. Sean then pursued further education and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration from the University of Redlands between 2012 and 2014.
