Ronnie Thompson

Ronnie Thompson has extensive experience in public service and real estate, currently serving as the Mayor of Morganton since December 2015. As a member of the National Association of Realtors since 1986, Ronnie has held significant roles including NAR Regional Vice President and Chair of NAR Meetings and Conference in 2015. Additionally, Ronnie has contributed to the North Carolina Association of REALTORS since 1984, notably as President in 2004, and has also played a key role as a Broker at Thompson Realty since 1973. Educational background includes an AB in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed in 1973.
