Mike McGhee is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience in labor relations and public administration. Currently serving as the Human Resources Manager for the City of Murrieta since August 2021, Mike has also held academic roles as an Adjunct Lecturer at San Diego State University, teaching courses on public sector negotiations and collective bargaining. Previous positions include Director of Employee & Labor Relations at California State University-San Bernardino and various roles within the City of San Diego, where Mike advanced from Labor Relations Officer to Labor Relations Manager. Additional experience includes consulting for the Southwestern Community College District and serving as Director of Labor Relations & Governmental Affairs for the San Diego City Firefighters I.A.F.F. Local 145. Mike holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University.
