Payton Carter

Payton Carter is a professional with extensive experience in planning and community development, currently serving as a Planner at the City of Nanaimo since July 2022. Prior to this role, Payton spent nearly a decade at the Regional District of Nanaimo, where positions included Planning Technician, First Aid Attendant, and Senior Program Leader. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a Data Technician at Bernhardt Contracting from November 2021 to March 2022. Payton's educational background features a Bachelor of Planning with a major in First Nations Planning and a minor in Political Science, along with Local Government Administration and Aboriginal Community Resource Planning certificates from the University of Northern British Columbia.
