Veronica Wong

Veronica Wong is an accomplished professional in urban planning and transportation engineering, currently serving as a Development Planner with York Region since July 2021. Previous roles include Transportation Technologist at York Region, Traffic Coordinator at the City of Vaughan, Development Engineering Coordinator at the City of Markham, and Transit Planning Intern with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. With extensive experience spanning various municipal positions, including Traffic Engineering Assistant with the City of Toronto and Transportation Design Technician at York Region, Veronica has contributed to numerous projects involving traffic analysis, roadway improvements, and transit planning. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Planning from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Toronto Metropolitan University.
