Mike Moore

Battalion Chief- Fire Operations at City of Naples

Mike Moore has a background in both the City of Naples and the U.S. Coast Guard. Mike started their career in 1999 as a Petty Officer- Boatswain's Mate (BM) in the U.S. Coast Guard and worked there until 2003. In 2004, they joined the City of Naples as a Firefighter Paramedic and worked in that role until 2012. Mike then became a Fire Lieutenant and held that position until 2020. Currently, they are serving as a Battalion Chief- Fire Operations for the City of Naples.

Mike Moore's education history includes a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Management from Hodges University. Mike also holds an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Edison State College. In addition to their degrees, Mike Moore has obtained several certifications, including Instructor Three from the State of Florida in April 2019, Fire Officer Designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence in July 2017, Fire Officer Two from the State of Florida in January 2016, Fire Officer One from the State of Florida in April 2010, and Paramedic from the State of Florida in August 2008.
