McGhee Joanne

McGhee Joanne currently serves as the Acting Director of Community Services for the City of National City, a position held since October 2022, and has previously held the role of Community Services Manager within the same organization. Prior experience includes serving as Recreation Area Manager for the City of Carlsbad, Parks Recreational Supervisor/Region Manager for the County of San Diego, and various roles with the City of San Diego, including Area Manager and Center Director. Additional experience includes work as Teen Center Director with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Park Ranger at Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve, and Contract Specialist at The Home Depot. McGhee Joanne holds a Master of Science in Hospitality Administration/Management and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Tourism Management from San Diego State University, along with an Associate of Science in Biology from Grossmont College.
