Marcus Bush, MRED, currently serves as Vice Mayor of National City, focusing on affordable housing development within the real estate department of MAAC, while also serving as a Council Member for MAAC since April 2020. Previously, Marcus held positions including Project Manager for the City of San Diego, working as a Policy Advisor with an emphasis on regional transportation and housing issues, and Community Planner at both Rick Engineering Company and Mooney Planning Collaborative. Additional experience includes serving as a Planning Commissioner and Civil Service Commissioner for National City, as well as involvement with the National City Chamber of Commerce. Marcus Bush's educational background includes a Master in Real Estate Development from Portland State University and dual bachelor's degrees in Public Administration and Spanish from San Diego State University.
