Tenzin Jorden

Tenzin Jorden is a dedicated individual with a diverse range of experiences in photography, mentorship, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Ward 22 Co-Chair for the City of New Haven, Tenzin also holds the position of Handsome Dan and Visitor Center Photographer at Yale University, where responsibilities include capturing major events for social media and the website. Previous roles include Photography Desk Editor and Staff Photographer for the Yale Daily News, where Tenzin contributed to the development of the Humans of New Haven column. Tenzin's background also encompasses labor organizing and advocacy work through internships with the New York Hotel Trades Council and the Migration Alliance at Yale. Furthermore, Tenzin has experience as a mentor and instructor, supporting youth in various capacities. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy at Yale University, Tenzin's education follows a high school diploma from Henry P Becton High School.
