David Burgoon, CPRP, is an experienced professional in parks and recreation management, currently serving as Athletic Manager at the New Smyrna Beach Sports Complex since April 2022 and as Athletic Coordinator for the City of Kissimmee since January 2020. With a career spanning over two decades, David has held various roles including Recreation Director in Apopka, Recreation Manager in Oviedo, and Recreation Superintendent in Casselberry, where responsibilities encompassed planning and supervising extensive recreational programs and events. David's earlier experience includes working with the Orlando Magic and at Walt Disney World, where work involved customer service, program development, and event coordination. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies from Central Michigan University, earned between 1993 and 1997.
