Tasha Henderson serves as a City Councillor for the City of New Westminster since November 2022, while also providing facilitation, engagement, and public speaking consultancy since January 2012. Tasha is an instructor in Policy and Legislation at Douglas College and has held notable roles, including Coordinator and Project Manager for the Surrey Poverty Reduction Coalition, where significant funding and strategies were developed. Previous experience includes Social Planner for the City of Coquitlam, where Tasha focused on multiculturalism and health community initiatives, and planner roles with Seabird Island Band and Flint Planning. Tasha holds a Master’s Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology from the University of British Columbia.
