Kwame Amoaku

Kwame Amoaku is a seasoned professional in the film and media production industry, serving as a Producer at Service Station since January 2002 and as an Executive Producer/Director at 5 Guns No Cables Productions since 1998. At 5 Guns No Cables, Kwame created content for Broadcast Television, Direct Market DVDs, and provided event fashion and commercial photography for a variety of clients. As a Deputy Commissioner for both the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment and the City of New York since July 2022, Kwame produces and directs film and video projects for major corporations and individuals. Previous experience includes serving as a Director for the City of Chicago from January 2019 to June 2022 and working as a Production Manager for Black Entertainment Television from 2009 to 2011. Kwame's early career includes freelancing as a producer from 1990 to 2010. Education was completed at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 1988 to 1990.
