Anne H. Stedler is a seasoned economic development professional with extensive experience in various city government roles across California. Currently serving as Deputy Economic Development Director and Economic Development Manager for the City of Newark since April 2017, Anne has successfully launched the city's inaugural economic development function, facilitating the leasing of over 1 million square feet of industrial space for new tenants in innovation sectors. Prior positions include Economic Development Manager for the City of Pacifica, where Anne spearheaded initiatives to attract hotel developers, and Economic and Redevelopment Professional for the City of Morgan Hill, where Anne secured significant federal grant funding. Previous roles at the City of Los Altos and San Jose Redevelopment Agency involved enhancing retail interest and managing urban development projects, respectively. Anne's career began at the City of Long Beach, overseeing key redevelopment projects.
