Matthew Farrell

Matthew Farrell currently serves as the Chief Building Official for the City of Newark, California, a position held since November 2021. Previously, Matthew held multiple roles within the City of Foster City, including Senior Building Inspector from October 2016 to November 2021 and Principal Inspector. Prior to that, Matthew worked as a Building Inspector for the City of San Carlos from April 2008 to October 2016. Matthew's educational background includes completion of a Leadership program from 2012 to 2013.
