David Lippman

David Lippman is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Senior Press Information Officer for the City of Newark since August 1998, responsible for crafting various public communications and managing media relations for significant city events. Prior to this role, Lippman was a Public Affairs Officer for the US Navy, specializing in media outreach and event planning in New Zealand, and a broadcaster for the Armed Forces Radio and Television Service in Japan. Lippman's earlier career includes serving as the Associate Editor for The Hudson Dispatch, where editorial responsibilities encompassed writing and editing for a daily newspaper. Lippman holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from the New School for Social Research and a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism from New York University.
