Janice Gaston

Janice Gaston currently serves as the City Comptroller for the City of Newburgh, New York, since July 2021. Prior to this role, Janice worked as a Tax Auditor for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance from January 2013 to July 2021. Janice's earlier experience includes positions as an Office Assistant at Westchester Medical Center, an Accounting Clerk at Soundview Construction Advisors, and Customer Service Personnel at H&R Block. Janice also held the role of Resident Assistant during attendance at the State University of New York College at Old Westbury. Janice holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and International Business from Mercy College and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Accounting from the State University of New York at Old Westbury.
