Ed Cameron

Ed Cameron is a seasoned professional in public service and homelessness advocacy with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as a City Councillor for Newburyport since January 2022 and as Senior Director of Outreach and Triage at Pine Street Inn since April 2019, Ed has a strong focus on advancing programs for individuals experiencing homelessness. Previous positions include Chief Executive Officer at Housing Families Inc. and Division Director for Housing and Homeless Services at Community Teamwork Inc., where Ed managed substantial budgets and oversaw comprehensive housing solutions. Ed’s work has consistently aimed at raising awareness and providing direct support to vulnerable populations, complemented by a solid educational background with an MBA from Boston University and a BA from Clark University.
