Tom O'Grady

Tom O'Grady serves as the Economic Development Manager for Special Projects at the City of Newport News since June 2023. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Project Development Manager for the City of Hampton from June 2021 to June 2023 and Director of Business Development for the Virginia Division of Clancy & Theys Construction Company, where responsibilities included generating new construction leads across various sectors. O'Grady has also held the role of Business Development Manager at KBS, Inc. and Director of Economic Development for the City of Suffolk, VA, along with serving as Director of Business Development for the Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance. O'Grady holds an MBA and a B.S. in Marketing Management from Virginia Tech and has graduated from Norfolk Academy.
