CITY OF NEWPORT
Scott Lamb possesses extensive law enforcement experience, currently serving as the Chief of Police for the City of Newport since January 2024. Previously, Scott held the role of Deputy Chief at the Newport Police Department, where a career began in September 1998, and also served as Captain. In addition to these roles, Scott has been the Tactical Team Commander for Newport/Cocke County since April 2011. Scott completed a degree at East Tennessee State University between 1993 and 1998.
