Brenda Ternes

Brenda Ternes, CGCIO, serves as the President of GMIS International since September 2018, a role that includes serving as President Elect and Conference Director for the organization focused on leaders in government technology. Simultaneously, Brenda has been the IT Director for the City of Newton, KS since January 2007, overseeing various aspects of IT management including helpdesk, server, database, storage, network management, purchasing, and budgeting. Prior experience includes working as Internal Operations Supervisor at Lifetouch National School Studios from August 2001 to December 2006, where responsibilities involved customer service, office management, and financial oversight. Brenda graduated from Mulberry High School in Mulberry, FL in 1996.
