Shawn Oatley

Shawn Oatley has over two decades of experience in technology and management, currently serving as the Manager of Innovation and Web Services for the City of Niagara Falls since June 2004. In this role, Shawn leads the Web Services team, oversees cyber security initiatives, and collaborates on innovation projects, focusing on Smart City initiatives to enhance customer service and inter-departmental collaboration. Previous positions include Web Services and Cyber Security Administrator, where Shawn developed online payment systems and self-service options, and Operations/IT Manager at ACS Systems, responsible for software programming and system maintenance. Shawn's educational background includes a certificate in NextGen Municipal Leadership from the Goodman School of Business at Brock University and a Diploma in Computer Programming from Niagara College, along with a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist credential.
