Candice Alder

Candice Alder is an experienced Economic Development Director currently serving the City of Norfolk, Nebraska since September 2013. Prior to this role, Candice worked at the Northeast Nebraska Economic Development District as an Economic Developer from January 2009 to September 2013, and held the position of Marketing & Visual Communications Coordinator/Community Planner Assistant. Early career experience includes a role at Norfolk Daily News from 2003 to 2008 as Advertising Sales/Newspaper Layout. Educational qualifications include an Executive Development Institute degree in Economic Development from the University of Oklahoma (2017-2018), an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Graphic Design from Northeast Community College (2008-2010), an Associate of Arts in Behavioral Science from Northeast Community College (2001-2003), and further studies at the University of Northern Iowa in 2014.
