Steven Traylor

Steven Traylor is an experienced forestry professional currently serving as City Forester for the City of Norfolk, VA since May 2018. Prior to this role, Traylor held the position of Forestry Operations Supervisor with the City and County of Denver from July 2007 to May 2018. Additional experience includes serving as Foreman at Swingle Lawn, Tree & Landscape Care and at Bartlett Tree Experts, where Traylor specialized in large tree removal and pest management. Traylor began a career in forestry as General Foreman at Osmose Utilities Services, Inc., and as an Agroforestry Volunteer with the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic. Educational qualifications include studies at Virginia Tech and Oregon State University.
