Tj Zavlanos

TJ Zavlanos serves as an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist for the City of North Battleford since July 2019, where responsibilities include developing city health and safety policies, leading emergency response planning, and coordinating training programs. As the Owner/Operator of Soteria Services Inc. since June 2012, expertise encompasses the management of safety programs, conducting audits, and ensuring legislative compliance for clients across Saskatchewan and Alberta. Prior experience includes serving as the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment Manager at Tecvalco from January 2016 to July 2019, where TJ developed safety procedures and managed occupational injury cases, and as a Probation Officer for the Government of Saskatchewan from April 2005 to March 2012, focusing on supervising offenders and preparing case reports. Educational qualifications include a Certified Health and Safety Consultant designation from the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan.
