Hamid Reza Nikvan

Hamid Reza Nikvan is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in public utilities management and electrical engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Public Utilities for the City of North Miami Beach since December 2024, Nikvan oversees a $200 million budget, focusing on the delivery of reliable water and wastewater services. Prior to this role, contributions included serving as the Assistant Utilities Director and Acting Utilities Director for the City of Cooper City, as well as holding various engineering and administrative positions in Deerfield Beach, GBI Intralogistics Solutions, CDI Electronics, and multiple firms specializing in governmental water and wastewater projects. Nikvan earned a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sadjad University of Technology, along with an Associate of Science degree from the University of Applied Sciences and Technology.
