Tammy O'Berry has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Tammy started their career as the HR Director at Renaissance Interactive from 1999 to 2001. Tammy then worked at Richland County for 17 years, serving as the Assistant Director of Human Resources. Since 2019, they have been working as the Human Resources Director for the City of North Myrtle Beach.
Tammy O'Berry completed their Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at the University of South Carolina from 1989 to 1993. Tammy pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from the same institution, studying from 1993 to 1995.
