Teresa Jensen has a diverse range of work experience in the library and community development sectors. Teresa is currently serving as the Interim Director of Community Development at the City of Northfield. Prior to this role, Teresa held the position of Director of Library and IT Services at the City of Northfield from 2013 to 2020. Teresa also served as the Library Services Administrator at the San Antonio Public Library from 2009 to 2013. Teresa's previous experience includes roles as a Resource Group Manager and Project Manager at the Hennepin County Library from 2008 to 2009, a Project Manager at the Minneapolis Public Library from 2006 to 2007, and a Public Services Manager at the Minneapolis Public Library from 2003 to 2006.
Teresa Jensen earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education-Social Studies from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1974 to 1977. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued their Master's degree in Library Science from the same university, completing their studies from 1977 to 1984.
