Katie Gauntlett is an experienced professional in parks, recreation, and community services, currently serving as the Director of Parks, Recreation & Community Services for the City of Novato since July 2022. Previously, Katie held various roles within the City of Novato, including Deputy Director and Recreation Supervisor, and also worked as a Recreation Supervisor for the City of Healdsburg. In addition to municipal roles, Katie has been actively involved with the California Parks and Recreation Society, serving in multiple leadership positions such as District 1 Treasurer, Secretary, President, and Past President. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation, Hospitality, and Parks Management from California State University, Chico, where studies were completed between 2008 and 2012.
