Laura Marie Casey

Laura Marie Casey is an experienced local elected official serving as a Councilmember for the City of Novi, Michigan, since November 2011, and is currently the Mayor Pro-Tem. In addition to key leadership roles on various committees such as Chair of the Older Adults Need Committee and the Capital Improvement Committee, Casey has also contributed to the Council Rules Committee and the Roads Committee. With a strong background in customer experience strategy and insights, Casey held positions at General Motors from October 2007 to June 2023, where responsibilities included leading the development of customer journey models and enhancing customer engagement. Prior experience includes program management roles at Carlson Marketing and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Casey holds multiple degrees including an MBA in Interactive Marketing and a BA in American Public Affairs from Michigan State University.
