Douglas Tatu has extensive experience in law enforcement, currently serving as Chief of Police for the City of Oak Point since March 2013, with previous roles including Criminal Investigation Sergeant and Patrol Sergeant. Prior to this, Douglas held positions at Texas Woman's University as Police Officer III and CIRT Officer, specializing in critical incident responses. Douglas began the law enforcement career as a Patrol Officer with Universal Protection Service and transitioned to Texas Woman's University, where roles included Crime Prevention Officer and Police Officer II. In terms of education, Douglas is pursuing a Certificate in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from International Law Enforcement Administration and holds a Professional Certification from TCC Police Academy. Douglas also completed studies at Tarrant County College and Cisco College after graduating from Bell High School.
