David Anderson

David Anderson is an experienced community center manager with a career spanning over two decades in parks and recreation. Currently serving as the Community Center Manager for the City of Oak Ridge since December 2022, David previously held the same role in Gatlinburg from March 2021 to November 2024, where responsibilities included managing staff and overseeing programs and special events. Prior experience includes serving as Recreation Superintendent for the Pigeon Forge Parks and Recreation Department, where management of various recreational programs and events was a key focus from July 2017 to March 2021. David also coordinated recreation programs and sports leagues as Recreation Program Director for the City of Gatlinburg from April 2002 to July 2017, and began a career in recreation as a Recreation Programmer in Pigeon Forge. David's foundation in health and physical education was established with a Bachelor of Science degree from Lincoln Memorial University.
