Monica McDaniel

Monica McDaniel has a diverse work experience in communications and public relations. Monica currently serves as the Director of Communications for the City of Odessa, Texas, where they focus on promoting positive aspects of the community and keeping residents informed. Prior to this, they worked as the Special Assistant to the Superintendent at Ector County ISD, and as the Public Relations Manager at the Odessa Police Department.

Monica McDaniel holds a BA in Radio/Television from the University of Houston. Monica also completed a Media Management and Leadership Course in Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia. In addition, Monica received a Fellowship in Broadcast Journalism from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Monica has also obtained a Social Media/Web Design & Programming Certification from OSC Computer Training.
