Marissa Kucheck has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Marissa currently serves as the Museum Arts & Culture Director at the City of Ontario, starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Cultural Arts Coordinator at the City of South Gate from February 2020 to January 2022. Marissa was also the Showroom Manager at Hammer and Spear from October 2017 to March 2020. In addition, Marissa worked as the School Partnerships Manager at The Huntington from July 2015 to March 2017. Before that, they served as the Education Programs Manager at the Bronx Museum of the Arts from May 2013 to June 2015. Their career began as an Operations Coordinator at The Copia (DMC Worldwide) in February 2012 and they worked there until May 2013.
Marissa Kucheck attended McGill University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Marissa majored in Honors Art History and minored in Geography- Urban Systems. In 2009, they furthered their education at the University of Michigan and earned a Master of Arts degree in Modern/Contemporary Latin American Art and Museum Studies. Additionally, in the same year, they obtained a Diploma in Graphic Application in Desktop Publishing from Concordia University, focusing on Adobe Creative Suite.
