Finance Director at City of Oregon City

Matt Zook has had a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Matt most recently served as the Finance Director for the City of Oregon City, starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Finance Director for the City of Newberg from January 2015 to December 2020. Before that, they served as the Finance Director for the City of Damascus from January 2012 to December 2014, and for the City of North Bend from April 2008 to January 2012. Matt also has experience in the private sector as an Account Executive at Zones, LLC from December 2006 to March 2008.

Matt Zook earned their Associate of Arts degree in General Education from Rio Hondo College, which they completed between 1985 and 1988. Matt then attended California State University, Fullerton from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. Later on, in the year 2005 to 2006, they pursued and successfully completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Concordia University-Portland.
