David Arnott currently serves as the Chief of Staff for the Orlando Police Department, providing senior advisory support to the Chief of Police since August 2022. Previously, David held multiple roles for the City of Orlando, including Public Safety Advisor and Special Assistant to Mayor Buddy Dyer. With extensive law enforcement experience dating back to 1989 at the Orlando Police Department, David has also served as a SWAT Team member, Director of Operations for the Florida SWAT Association, and Intelligence Section Chair for the National Tactical Officers Association. David's early career includes a tenure in the United States Marine Corps and an educational background in Computer Science from Devry University.
