Lionel Santiago, M.A., has extensive experience in law enforcement and education, currently serving as a Detective and FBI Task Force Officer with the City of Orlando Police Department since May 1999. Key roles include work with the OIA TAC Unit and the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force since 2019, with prior positions encompassing recruiting supervision, criminal investigations, and various detective roles. In addition to law enforcement, Lionel Santiago serves as Program Manager for Criminal Justice and Security Management at Southwestern College and as Associate Faculty at Valencia College, contributing to the field through teaching and curriculum development. Academic achievements include a Master of Arts in Homeland Security and Security Management from American Military University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Central Florida, complemented by military service in the US Army and Florida Army National Guard.
