Martin Carmody has over 25 years of experience in the public and private sector. Martin began their career in 1988 as a Sr. Consultant at Price Waterhouse. In 1991, they joined Arthur Andersen as a Manager in their small business consulting practice. Martin left Arthur Andersen in 1995 to become the Director of Finance for the City of Cleveland. Martin held this position until 2000 when they became the Deputy CFO for the government. In 2011, they joined the City of Orlando as their Budget Division Manager.

Martin Carmody's educational career includes an MBA in operation and logistics/IT from the Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, as well as a BA in international relations from the University of Minnesota.

They work with April Michael - Director of Communications & Neighborhood Relations, Stephanie Herdocia - City Clerk, and Mayanne Downs - City Attorney. Martin Carmody reports to Buddy Dyer, Mayor.
