Dawn Perkins

Dawn Perkins is currently serving as the Budget and Finance Project Manager for Special Districts at the City of Oxnard since December 2023. Previously, Dawn held the position of Director of Finance at Gold Coast Transit District from November 2020 to August 2023, managing a team responsible for comprehensive accounting and finance functions. Dawn's experience includes serving as the Director of Administrative Services for the City of Avenal from December 2014 to November 2020 and as Accountant II at the County of Kings from February 2007 to November 2014. Early career experience includes a role as Semi Senior Accountant at M. Green and Company, CPAs, LLP from September 2003 to 2007, focusing on full-service accounting and tax preparation. Dawn Perkins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and attended California State University, Fresno.
