Jan Hauser

Jan Hauser is a seasoned professional in water and wastewater management with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Wastewater Division Manager for the City of Oxnard since September 2018, Jan oversees the wastewater treatment and collection system, managing personnel, operations, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. Prior to this role, Jan held various leadership positions including Vice President at AECOM, where responsibilities included overseeing the Water Business Line and the water/wastewater business in Michigan. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President at ARCADIS and Director of Business Development at Finkbeiner, Pettis & Strout. Jan began a career in public utilities as the Director of Utilities for the City of Adrian, Michigan. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Water Resources from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
