Katie Casey is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Oxnard, where responsibilities include overseeing the Cultural and Community Services Department and collaborating on disaster preparedness initiatives. Previous experience includes roles as Communications Manager for the City of Oxnard, Public Information Specialist II for the West Basin Municipal Water District, and Public Information Officer for the City of Hermosa Beach. As a public relations consultant, Katie worked with various municipalities and organizations, and held senior positions at Hill+Knowlton Strategies and Formula Public Relations, managing high-profile campaigns for major brands. Katie holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising & Public Relations from Ithaca College and a Specialized Studies Certificate in Emergency Management and Disaster Recovery from UC Irvine.
